I don't actually know the history of May Day in American... let alone the traditions other than dancing around the May Pole... I know that in France on the first of May, the tradition is to give people (friends/family) a stem of mugeut or even the entire plant. Not quite sure why... If anyone knows, please tell.... In the meantime, Happy May Day!!!
